Putin sees fewer COVID contagions, permits to remove limits slowly
MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) – Contagions with COVID-19 in Russia has stabilized and the government can now start to remove the restrictions cautiously, President Vladimir Putin said on Monday at a meeting with students.
"In general, the situation with the epidemic in the country is gradually stabilizing. I heard the corresponding reports today in the morning, and the number of people getting well exceeds the number of those who got ill. The number of infected is falling. It is lower than 20,000 already," Putin said.
"This allows us to remove the introduced limits cautiously, to return to normal studies."
